The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on July 23, 2024, notified regarding an amendment in the older notification related to exemptions of Customs duty on goods falling within the second schedule of Customs Tariff Act, 1975.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In the Notification No. 27/2011-Customs dated March 01, 2011, related to exemptions of Customs duty on goods falling within the second schedule of Customs Tariff Act, 1975, in the TABLE, after S.No.25 and the entries relating thereto, S. Nos. 25A, 25B, 25C, 25D, 25E, 25F, 25G, 25H, and 25 I shall be inserted, and S. Nos. 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 38A, 38B, 39 shall be omitted.
• This shall come into force on July 24, 2024.
