The Ministry of Finance (MoF) on July 23, 2024, amended an older notification No. 8/2020-Customs, dated February 02, 2020, related to Health Cess on certain items.
The following has been stated: -
•In the notification, in the Table, against Sl. No. 2, after item (viii) and the entries relating thereto, the following item and entries shall be inserted, namely:
"(ix) Notification No. 52/2003-Customs, dated the 31st March 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide G.S.R. 274(E), dated the 31st March, 2003.".
This notification shall come into force on July 24, 2024.
