The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on July 31, 2024, issued the date of establishment and date of withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS)
The following IS has been establishment on July 18, 2024, namely: -
• IS 2993 (Part 1) : 2024 IEC 60252-1 : 2010 + AMD 1 : 2013 a. c. Motor Capacitors Part 1 General — Performance, Testing and Rating — Safety Requirements — Guidance for Installation and Operation (Third Revision)
• IS 6380 : 2024 Elastomeric Insulation and Sheath of Electric Cables — Specification (Second Revision)
• IS 12762 (Part 1) : 2024 IEC 60904-1 : 2020 Photovoltaic Devices Part 1 Measurement of Photovoltaic Current-Voltage Characteristics (Second Revision)

The following IS shall be withdrawn on July 18, 2025, namely: -
