The National Stock Exchange International Exchange (NSE IX) on July 31, 2024, notified regarding the Market Data broadcast – Enhancement in Tick by Tick via Multicast (MTBT).
The Exchange is enhancing its Tick-by-Tick Market Data via Multicast (MTBT) with additional features, including new Market Status messages and data on Indicative Equilibrium Price (IEP) and Indicative Equilibrium Quantity (IEQ) during pre-open and pre-close sessions. These changes will be implemented in the live environment starting August 5, 2024. The MTBT protocol document has been updated to version 1.3 and is available on the Exchange's website. The enhanced MTBT will run on the same stream IDs as the existing MTBT but with separate connectivity parameters. Both versions will be available in parallel for a transition period, allowing members and vendors to migrate to the enhanced system.
