The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on August 01, 2024, issued the date of establishment and date of withdrawal of certain Indian Standards (IS)
The following IS has been establishment on July 26, 2024, namely: -
• IS 4392 : 2024 Textiles — Hand-Made Namdhas — Specification (Second Revision)
• IS 10688 : 2024 Method for Proving Gas-Tightness of Vacuum Plants — Method of Test (First Revision)
• IS 11573 : 2024 Textiles — Polyamide Yarn for Cycle and Rickshaw Tyres — Specification (First Revision)
• IS/IEC 61557-11 : 2020 Electrical Safety in Low Voltage Distribution Systems up to 1 000 V a.c. and 1 500 V d.c. — Equipment for Testing, Measuring or Monitoring of Protective Measures Part 11 Effectiveness of Residual Current Monitors (RCM) in TT, TN and IT Systems
The following IS shall be withdrawn on January 26, 2025, namely: -
• IS 4392 : 2003 Textiles — Hand-Made Namdhas — Specification (First Revision)
• IS 7133 - 1985 Specification for Cotton Tyre Cord and Warp Sheet for Cycle and Rickshaw (First Revision)
• IS 10688 - 1983 Method for Proving GasTightness of Vacuum Plants
• IS 11573 - 1986 Specification for Polyamide Yarn for Cycle and Rickshaw Tyres
