The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on July 29, 2024, issued the notification regarding Harmonization of File Formats Across Depository.
The following has been stated:
• Field Descriptions are updated to harmonize them across the formats.
• Earlier different fields of similar nature had common standard values. These Standard values are now segregated based on field description and ISO tag, so that distinct ISO tags will have a distinct set of standard values.
• ISO Tags Rsvd1 & Rsvd2 Dummy fields in Client Creation, Client Master and SOT formats are renamed so that it is identical with its field descriptions.
• Updated Standard Values for each ISO tag.
• Added separate sheet for the combination of Transaction type, Transaction status and Transaction code mapping between DP57 and COD report in the UDIFF catalogue itself.
