Industry Specific ComplianceThe Indian Clearing Corporation Limited (ICCL) on July 31, 2024, notified regarding the Introduction of Custodial Participant (CP) code (excluding INST code) in T+0 Settlement Cycle in addition to the existing T+1 settlement cycle in Equity Cash Segment.

The following has been stated:

• It confirms facilitation of CP Code trades in T+0 settlement cycle from September 30, 2024.

• INST (OTR functionality) continues to be out of scope for T+0 Settlement mechanism.

• The EPI of securities using block mechanism shall be mandatory for delivery in the T+0 segment for UPI clients & all non-custodian clients, using the new settlement type.

• The Members & Custodians to note that securities need to be deliver to CC’s account as CCs will NOT be uploading ADO (Auto Delivery Out) instruction to Depositories.
