The Government of Jharkhand on July 31, 2024, issued a notification regarding the extension of the period for suggestions/objections on the draft of the Jharkhand Platform Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Bill, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The Jharkhand Platform Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) Bill, 2024 has been proposed to provide registration and social security to gig workers.
•Various stakeholders were requested to submit suggestions/objections on the draft within fifteen days, which has been extended till August 15, 2024.
