EHS ComplianceThe Government of Goa on August 01, 2024, notified the Goa Ground Water Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2024 further to amend the Goa Ground Water Regulation Act, 2002.

The following has been stated: -

•In section 2 after clause (a), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: — 

“(aa) “acquifer systems” means geological formation capable of storing and transmitting groundwater;”.

It shall come into force at once.
