The Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) on August 01, 2024, issued a General advisory for the upstream E&P industry towards the necessity of prior statutory clearances.
It is stated that the User Agency has faced delays in obtaining necessary Environment/ Forest Clearances because of the incorrect submission of data in the designated portal. These delays further hamper the exploration ventures. In many instances, violation cases have also been observed.
Annexure-l is attached herewith for information and intimation to the User. Agencies involved in the Oil and Gas activities pertaining to the E&P Blocks in India.
