EHS ComplianceThe Ministry of Defence (MoD) on August 05, 2024, notified the Dagshai Cantonment Board (Digging and Use of Bore Wells) Regulations, 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•Regulation 2 lays down various definitions for terms like Cantonment Board and Bore well.

•Regulation 3 specifies a survey of existing bore wells.

•Regulation 4 specifies a survey of groundwater available.

•Regulation 5 specifies the appointment of authority.

They shall come into force on August 06, 2024.
