The University Grants Commission (UGC) on August 07, 2024, issued SOPs for operationalization of the National Credit Framework (NCrF) in Higher Education, Vocational Education, Training and Skilling (VETS) and school education.
The UGC notified the National Credit Framework (NCrF) on April 10, 2023 and requested all HEIs to adopt NCrF in their respective institutions.
Following the notification of NCrF, the Ministry of Education constituted a High-Level Committee (HLC) to formulate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to implement the NCrF" The HLC developed SOPs for the implementation of NCrF.
