The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on August 07, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Revision of the Client Master Structure on the BSE StAR MF Platform.
Members are informed that the Exchange will enhance the existing UCC structure to include guardian relationships for minor clients and standardize nominee relationships. This update will add three fields to the current structure, expanding it to 150. The revised structure, detailed in Annexure I, will go live on October 4, 2024.
Members should note that the old UCC structure of 131 fields will be discontinued on August 16, 2024, and fresh UCC creation or modification using this structure will no longer be permitted. However, the 146-field structure will remain available. Members using third-party vendor solutions or in-house developed trading applications should initiate the necessary updates to accommodate these changes.
