The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on August 06, 2024, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Silica Flour for Use in Foundries.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Dates of Establishment shall be July 25, 2024, -
• IS 3339: 2024 Silica Flour for Use in Foundries — Specification (Second Revision).
• IS 5303: 2024 Zircon Flour for Use in Foundries — Specification (Second Revision).
• IS 6366: 2024 Sprue Plugs for Use in Foundries — Specification (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be January 25, 2025: -
• IS 3339 - 1975 Specification for Silica Flour for Use in Foundries (First Revision).
• IS 5303 - 1974 Specification for Zircon Flour for Use in Foundries (First Revision).
• IS 6366 - 1971 Specification for Sprue Plugs for Use in Foundries.
