The Indian Bank’s Association (IBA) on August 07, 2024, notified regarding the dearness relief payable for the period August 2024 to January 2025 to surviving retirees and surviving spouses of retirees of banks pre-January 01, 1986, who are in receipt of Ex-gratia.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Total Ex-gratia amount including dearness relief per month for pre-January 01, 1986 retirees - Rs. 5401.13/-
• Total Ex-gratia amount including dearness relief per month for surviving spouses of pre-January 01, 1986 retirees - Rs. 2700.57/-
• It states that as per the DFS guidelines, the surviving pre-1986 retired employee/surviving spouse of the pre-1986 retired employee gets a minimum of Rs. 10000/- per month as ex-gratia.
