The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on August 02, 2024, issued the Draft Varanasi a Cantonment Board Solid Waste Management Bye-laws, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These bye-laws shall be applicable within the territorial limits of the Varanasi a Cantonment.
• The Bye laws state the Segregation and Primary Storage of Solid Waste in Chapter II
• The Bye laws state the Solid Waste Collection in Chapter III
• The Bye laws state the Secondary Storage of Solid Waste in Chapter IV
The objections or suggestions may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Varanasi a Cantonment Board within 30 days from August 02, 2024.
