The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on August 02, 2024, issued the Draft St. Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram Cantonment Board Solid Waste Management Bye-laws, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• These bye-laws shall be applicable within the territorial limits of the St. Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram Cantonment.
• The Bye laws state the Segregation and Primary Storage of Solid Waste in Chapter II
• The Bye laws state the Solid Waste Collection in Chapter III
• The Bye laws state the Secondary Storage of Solid Waste in Chapter IV
The objections or suggestions may be addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, St. Thomas Mount cum Pallavaram Cantonment Board within 30 days from August 02, 2024.
