Secretarial ComplianceThe Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on August 29, 2024, notified Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2024 further to amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) Regulations, 2018.

The following has been stated: -

•In the regulations after Chapter VII and before Chapter VIII, the following Chapter shall be inserted, namely, – 

Chapter VIIA restriction in dealing with other entities

They shall come into force on August 29, 2024.
