The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on August 27, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Commencement of Natural Gas November 2024 Options Contract with Natural Gas (1,250 MMBTU) Futures as underlying.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Natural Gas Options 21 November 2024 contract will be available for trading with effect from Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
• The particulars and dates are as follows: -
o Contract – Natural Gas Option 21 November 2024
o Underlying Futures Contract – Natural Gas 25 November 2024
o Contract Start Date – August 28, 2024
o Option Contract Expiry Date – November 21, 2024
o Sensitivity Report shall be provided on – November 15, 18,19 & 20, 2024 at End of Day
o Option Devolvement Intimation can be provided from November 19, 2024 to November 21, 2024
o Option Devolvement Margin First Day – November 20, 2024 (from Beginning of Day) Option Devolvement Margin Second Day November 21, 2024 (from Beginning of Day)
o First day of Trading after Option Positions Devolving into Futures Positions – November 22, 2024
