Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) on August 23, 2024, issued the Clarification to the 'Guidelines for Development of Onshore Wind Power Projects' and amendments.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It is clarified that the said amendment is applicable for future wind power projects, which are to be registered by SNAs after August 04, 2024, or the date notified by the State Governments through GO/Policy/Guidelines on the matter, whichever is later.
