Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on August 30, 2024, amended an older notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise, dated July 19, 2022, related to the increase in the Special Additional Excise Duty on the production of Petroleum Crude and reduction of the Special Additional Excise Duty on the export of ATF.

The following has been stated: -

•In the notification, in the Table, - 

Against S.No.1, for the entry in column (4), the entry “Rs. 1850 per tonne” shall be substituted.

This notification shall come into force on August 31, 2024
