Industry Specific ComplianceThe Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on August 29, 2024, issued the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Intermediaries) (Amendment) Regulations, 2024 to further amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Intermediaries) Regulations, 2008.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Chapter III A which states “Restriction in Dealing with Other Entities” has been inserted which includes:

o The “Restriction in having association with certain persons” has been stated.

This shall come into force on August 29, 2024.
