The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) on August 30, 2024, issued Footwear made from All Rubber and all Polymeric Material and its Components (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024 to amend further the Footwear made from All Rubber and all Polymeric Material and its Components (Quality Control) Order, 2024.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In paragraph 2, for the fifth proviso, the following proviso shall be substituted namely:
“Provided also that the stock of footwear without Bureau of Indian Standards Mark, manufactured or imported prior to the commencement of this Order, shall be permitted to be sold or displayed or offered to be sold for a period up to the 31st July 2026”.
