Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on August 30, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Upgradation of Point-to-Point leased line Network.

The bandwidth requirement for trading has increased substantially and hence there is a need for upgradation of all 2 Mbps Point-to-Point leased lines to a minimum of 10 Mbps bandwidth.

In view of the above, the Exchange will be initiating the up-gradation process of the existing 2 Mbps Point-to-Point Leased lines. Members are requested to obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Exchange for upgrading the Point-to-Point leased line as per Annexure-1.

Members may please note that, with immediate effect, Exchange has discontinued providing 2 Mbps Point-to-Point leased lines. Members who want to apply for Point-to-Point leased lines may now apply for a minimum of 10 Mbps bandwidth.
