The Government of Karnataka on August 31, 2024, issued a notification regarding the extension of the Kara-Samadhana (i.e., waiver of interest) Scheme.
The following has been stated: -
•In exercise of the powers conferred under proviso to Rule 15-A of the Karnataka Excise Licences (General Condition) Rules, 1967, the Government specifies that “Kara-Samadhana” (i.e., waiver of interest) Scheme-V as detailed in the Government Order No: FD 03 PES 2023 dated: January 20, 2024, annexed to the Notification No: FD 03 PES 2023, dated: January 20, 2024 is extended up to December 31, 2024.
