The Government of Kerala on August 30, 2024, issued the Kerala Co-operative Revival Fund Scheme, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The primary objective of the Scheme is to offer financial assistance, under the terms and conditions specified herein, to revive cooperative societies that are financially weaker or remain in dormant positions due to certain extraordinary situations.
•It also intends to restore the operational viability and sustainability of such societies by ensuring their continued contribution to the cooperative sector and the economy of Kerala.
•The Director of Co-operative Audit shall conduct the annual audit of the project/scheme.
It shall come into force at once.
