The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on August 31, 2024, issued the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2024, to further amend the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transshipment Regulations, 2018.
This shall come into force on August 31, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In regulation 15 (2), the words, figures, and letters, “till 31st August, 2024” shall be substituted with the words, figures, and letters, “till the date mentioned in column (3) of the table below for the Customs Ports mentioned in the column (2) of the said table.”
• After Form-XII, a table stating “Date till which the transitional provisions are applicable” shall be inserted.
