The Government of Assam on August 20, 2024, issued a notification regarding the grant of entitlement certificate and claim of SGST reimbursement.
The following has been stated: -
•In exercise of the power conferred under sub-para (2) of para 11 of the Assam Industries (Tax Reimbursement for Eligible Units) Scheme, 2017, and under sub-para (4) of para 14 of the Assam Industries (SGST Reimbursement for Eligible Units) Scheme, 2021, it is directed that w.e.f. August 21, 2024, all applications for grant of entitlement certificate and claim of SGST reimbursement should be submitted online through the Department's portal.
•Further, w.e.f. August 21, 2024, offline application for grant of entitlement certificate and claim SGST reimbursement will not be accepted.
