The Government of Haryana on August 29, 2024, notified regarding the paid holiday on October 01, 2024, on account of General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Haryana.
It exempts all the adult workers working in the factories situated in the State of Haryana for the week commencing from September 29, 2024 and ending on October 05, 2024, subject to the condition that no adult worker who is enrolled as a voter in the General Election to the Legislative Assembly shall be required or allowed to work on October 01, 2024 (Tuesdays) in the factories.
