The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on September 04, 2024, notified regarding the Revision in Expiry dates of Gold Mini and Gold 1G November 2024 contracts.
Due to the Diwali festival, spot prices will be limited from Nov 01 to 05, 2024.
Accordingly, the Final Settlement Price cannot be ascertained for contracts expiring during these dates. Given the same, NSE is advancing the expiry of the Gold Mini Futures and Gold 1G Futures contracts to October 31, 2024.
Additionally, as NSE has a Gold Mini Options on Futures contract whose expiry date is linked to the expiry of the underlying Futures contract, the Gold Mini Options on Futures expiry date shall also be advanced to October 24, 2024.
The revision in expiry dates and maturity dates shall be effective from September 17, 2024. Trading members must upload the latest co_contract.gz file available on the NSE Extranet before trading on September 17, 2024.
Trading members are requested to note that the contract description of the Gold Mini and Gold 1G November Futures contracts shall continue to remain the same, only the Expiry date and Maturity date shall be advanced to October 31, 2024.
