MoF amended an older notification related to exemption of the excisable goods

Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 02, 2024, amended an older notification no. 10/2022-Central Excise, dated June 30, 2022, related to exemption of the excisable goods.

The following amendment has been stated:

• In the Table,

o Against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (3), the entry “Motor spirit, commonly known as petrol, when cleared for export to countries other than Bhutan” shall be substituted;

o Against S. No. 2, for the entry in column (3), the entry “High speed diesel oil, when cleared for export to countries other than Bhutan” shall be substituted.

• Paragraph 2 shall be omitted.

This notification will come into force from September 03, 2024.
