The Nagar Nigam Rudrapur on August 30, 2024, issued a notification regarding the disposal of the generated garbage.
It is informed to the general public that if any institution in the Rudrapur Municipal Corporation area - hospital, hotel, school, RWA etc., (BWG) generates 100 kg or more than 100 kg of garbage (dry and wet garbage) per day. Under the Municipal Corporation Rudrapur 'Solid Waste Management Act 2016', it is mandatory for the concerned institution to dispose of the generated garbage itself. If any institution does not do so, then Municipal Corporation Rudrapur will take legal/punitive action against the institution, hospital, hotel, school, RWA etc. as per the said Act.
