Labour ComplianceThe Government of Kerala on September 05, 2024, issued instructions regarding Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme Asset creation in a transparent and Corruption free manner.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states the instructions to ensure transparent and corruption-free implementation of the Employment Guarantee Scheme, execute projects on time, adhere to procurement and financial guidelines, monitor progress, inform the community, and establish clear reporting mechanisms.

• It states that the guidelines for procurement and distribution in the Employment Guarantee Scheme emphasize competitive bidding, adherence to quality standards, local sourcing, proper documentation, effective inventory management, and timely distribution to ensure efficiency and fairness.

• It states that the project manager shall be responsible for overseeing material distribution, the procurement officer shall be responsible for ensuring timely supplier delivery, and field supervisors shall be responsible for monitoring on-site usage to avoid project delays.

• It states that documents required for GST and TDS compliance are properly formatted invoices, payment receipts, TDS certificates (Form 16 or 16A), GST return copies, bank statements, and purchase orders.
