Industry Specific ComplianceThe All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on September 09, 2024, notified regarding the Adoption of Standardized Model Format for Issuing Postgraduate Certificates.

The following has been stated:

• It has directed that all universities and institutions offering Master of technology (M. Tech) programs under the purview of AICTE must adopt the following model format for their certificates:

M.Tech in [Main Branch Name] (specialization in [Specialization Name])

• Implementation:

o Uniform Adoption: All universities are requested to uniformly adopt this format for M.Tech degrees. The main branch of study must be clearly stated, followed by the specialization in parentheses.

o Consistency Across Institutions: This format is to be applied consistently across all affiliated institutions and departments under the purview of your university.

o Compliance: Universities are requested to ensure compliance with this directive in all future certificates issued for postgraduate degrees, starting from this Academic Year.
