The Government of West Bengal on September 06, 2024, issued a notification regarding the clarification on Property tax and other Incentives for IT/ITES Companies in West Bengal.
The West Bengal Information Technology and Electronics (IT&E) Policy, 2018, which became effective from August 13, 2018, remains in force until further orders as per the IT&E Department.
The ongoing incentives under the IT & E Policy 2018 are enumerated below:
•The incentive policy of Commerce and Industries and MSME Departments will be followed mutatis mutandis,
•Extra 15% Floor Area Ratio (FAR) will be allowed for IT/ITES Buildings.
•Exemption of property tax of 50% will be given for 12 years, ie. uptil August 12, 2030
