Commercial Compliance The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) on September 09, 2024, issued the Competition (Criteria for Exemption of Combinations) Rules, 2024.

This shall come into force on September 10, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• Rule 3 states that the categories of combinations that fulfil the criteria mentioned in the Schedule shall be exempted from the requirement to comply with sub-sections (2), (2A), and (4) of section 6 of the Act.
