Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Ltd. (MCX), on September 10, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Online Closure of Trading Accounts.

Based on a representation from the Brokers' Industry Standards Forum and in consultation with SEBI, the guidelines for online trading account closure have been simplified to align with the online account closure process for demat accounts. The guidelines specified in Annexure A have been modified for points 3, 4, 7, and 9. The updated version of Annexure A is attached for reference.
