The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) on September 10, 2024, issued the notification regarding the fixing/revising the price including WPI impact.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The price has been fixed/revised including WPI impact @0.00551% for the year 2024
• The ceiling price exclusive of Goods and Services Tax applicable has been stated.
• The price of the medicine Chloroquine has been fixed at 1.33
• The ceiling price for a pack of the scheduled formulation shall be arrived at by the concerned manufacturer in accordance with the ceiling price specified
• The manufacturers of above said scheduled formulations shall furnish quarterly return to the NPPA, in respect of production/import and sale of scheduled formulations
