The Industries, Energy, Labour and Mining Department, Maharashtra, on September 11, 2024, issued a draft notification regarding basic minimum rates of wages payable to the employees employed in any industry manufacturing Paints and Varnishes.
The following has been stated: -
•The Advisory Board, revises, the basic minimum rates of wages payable to the employees employed in the scheduled employment and refixes them, as set out in column (3) of the Schedule given below as the minimum rates of wages payable to the class of employees mentioned against them in column (2) of the Schedule.
•All persons likely to be affected can submit their comments and suggestions before the expiry of two months from September 11, 2024.
