The General Administration & Protocol, Government of Lakshadweep on September 13, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of Holiday on account of Milad-Un-Nabi.
The following has been stated: -
•In partial modification of Notification F.No. 35/02/2018-Genl/4076 dated November 10, 2023, the competent authority of Union Territory of Lakshadweep declares September 17, 2024 (Tuesday) as a closed holiday instead of September 16, 2024 (Monday) for the Govt. Offices/Institutions under this Administration, Banks, and Court at Kavaratti Island for Milad-Un-Nabi (Birthday of Prophet Mohammed).
