Labour Compliance The Government of Meghalaya on September 09, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of a Local Holiday in the state.

The following has been stated: -

•All State Government Offices, all Revenue and Magisterial Courts, and Educational Institutions in the East Khasi Hills District shall remain closed as a Local Holiday on September 18, 2024, on account of Unitarian Anniversary Day.
