Commercial Compliance The Union Territory of Ladakh on September 12, 2024, notified the Union Territory of Ladakh Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Reference Standards Laboratory.

•Rule 3 specifies Reference Standards.

•Rule 4 specifies Secondary Standards.

•Rule 5 specifies Working Standards.

These rules shall come into force on September 12, 2024.
