The Ministry of Communications on September 13, 2024, issued the Telecommunications (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2024.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Paragraph 1 (2) states that this order shall come into force on June 26, 2024, and remain in effect until either all provisions and necessary rules of the Act are in force or until 10 months have elapsed, whichever occurs first.
• Paragraph 2 states about “Credit of sums of money to Digital Bharat Nidhi” that sums payable towards Universal Service Obligation for licenses granted on or after June 26, 2024, shall be credited to the Digital Bharat Nidhi while this order is in effect.
