Industry Specific ComplianceThe Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) on September 13, 2024, notified regarding the Intra-State Deviation Settlement Mechanism consequent to CERC (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It directs Delhi SLDC to implement the Intra-State Deviation Settlement Mechanism according to CERC (Deviation Settlement Mechanism and Related Matters) Regulations, 2024, including specified rates and DISCOM-wise over-drawl/under-drawl limits for TPDDL, BRPL, BYPL, NDMC, MES, and Northern Railway.

• It directs to implement the Deviation Settlement Mechanism provisions for Waste to waste-to-energy plants commissioned after December 26, 2022, using the Contract Rate defined in the regulations.

• This shall come into force from September 16, 2024.
