The Department of Economics & Statistics, Kerala on September 12, 2024, notified regarding the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Labourers and Industrial Workers for the month of July 2024.
The Consumer Price Index Numbers are calculated based on two series: 2011-12 = 100 and 1998-99 = 100, for comparison and various centers reported slight changes in index numbers from June to July 2024.
Specific index numbers for selected centers include:
• Thiruvananthapuram: 208 (base 2011-12), 439 (base 1998-99)
• Kollam: 207 (base 2011-12), 433 (base 1998-99)
• Other centers also reported similar trends.
