Industry Specific Compliance The Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers' Rights Authority (PPVFRA) on August 29, 2024, notified the DUS test of varieties of the crop species Sponge gourd, Curry leaf, Ailanthus, Dahlia, Broccoli, Lemon Grass and Chilli, Paprika & Bell Pepper (under protected conditions).

The DUS test fees for Extant Varieties will be that of 50% of New Varieties and for EDV the DUS testing, if decided by the Authority, it would be the same on par with that of New Varieties.
