The Competition Commission of India (CCI), on September 17, 2024, notified the Competition Commission of India (General) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated-
•In a situation not provided for in these regulations, the Commission may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, determine the procedure in a particular case
•The Commission's official seal and emblem (with tagline) shall be such as indicated by a drawing in Annexure.
•The language of the Commission shall be English.
•Failure to comply with any requirement of these regulations shall not invalidate any proceeding, merely by reason of such failure, unless the Commission is of the view that such failure has resulted in miscarriage of justice.
•In the matter of implementation of these regulations, if any doubt or difficulty arises, the decision of the Commission thereon shall be binding.
