The Government of Rajasthan on September 19, 2024, notified Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement (Second Amendment) Rules, 2024 further to amend the Rajasthan Transparency in Public Procurement Rules, 2013.
The following has been stated: -
•In sub-rule (6) of rule 42 for the existing expression “of a scheduled bank”, the expression “of a scheduled bank or Insurance Surety Bonds issued by an Insurer registered with the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDA) for transact the business of issuing Insurance Surety Bonds” shall be substituted.
