The Government of Nagaland on July 02, 2024, notified regarding the free travel facilities in the Nagaland State Transport Passenger buses for PwDs.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that a free travel pass shall be issued on payment of Rs. 50/-, which will be renewable after 2 years against payment of Rs. 20/-.
• It states that free travel pass shall be limited to 4 seats in a particular bus in an open space behind the driver's seat in the first and second row.
• It states that the pass shall be non-transferrable and any imposter so detected shall be liable to prosecution.
