Industry Specific Compliance The Department of Housing and Urban Development, Punjab on September 20, 2024, issued the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Building (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Punjab Urban Planning and Development Building Rules, 2021.

In rule 7 (1), which states about the institutional buildings of various types, in the table, after Serial no.27 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be added, namely:-

"28. Amalgamation - Amalgamation allowed or Fragmentation Fragmentation not allowed”.
